"Solid food without the fancy sales pitch"
I don’t usually buy into all the polished restaurant talk about “great value” and whatever, but this actually felt like a good deal. The portions were big for the price, and the beef sandwich was seriously packed. Delivery wasn’t exactly cheap, but for a family meal, it still felt worth it.

"Portillo’s Just Feels Like a Safe Bet"
Had Portillo’s again, my gut says it’s one of those places that just doesn’t miss. The beef sandwich was packed with flavor, and the bread was soft without turning soggy, which is a big thing for me. The fries came out hot and salty, exactly how I want them, and the chocolate cake shake still tastes ridiculously good. It’s not trying to be fancy or anything, but it just hits the spot every time.

"Delivery was late but food still good"
I ordered from portillos and my package show up a day late. The food was still good, but the tracking barely updated at all, which was annoying because I had planned dinner around it. Not the worst experience, but definitely frustrating.

"Huge Portions, Great Value"
The portions here are seriously huge. I pretty much always end up taking leftovers home, which I’m definitely not mad about lol. If anything, it can be a bit too much food sometimes, but that’s a easy problem to live with

"Checkout Surprise Was a Joke"
The food was fine, no real complaints there, but ordering on portillos.com was annoying. I picked everything out thinking I had a good idea of the total, and then all these extra fees popped up right near the end. Like, what a joke. Maybe I missed something earlier, but it definitely didn’t feel upfront. I don’t mind paying more if I know about it from the start, but getting surprised at checkout is frustrating

"Rewards Actually Add Up"
I wasn’t expecting much from the rewards, but they add up fast—actually, faster than I thought. I ended up getting free fries without really trying, which was a nice little bonus.

"Decent Drive-Thru, Just Slower Than I Expected"
As someone who grabs drive-thru food often when I’m on the go, I was hoping this Portillo’s stop would be a little quicker. The line didn’t look too bad at first, but it still ended up taking longer than I expected. The staff was friendly enough, and my order was correct, so I definitely appreciated that. The food came out hot too, which was a plus. Overall, though, the whole process felt like it could’ve been a bit more organized. Not a bad visit, just kind of average for me.

"Easy Order and No Issues"
so... I’ve ordered from portillos a few times now, and it’s been really smooth. Everything I wanted was actually available, no weird out-of-stock surprises or long waits. Checkout was simple, and the food showed up just like expected. Easy 5 stars from me...

"Simple Requests Still Got Missed"
I asked for no onions and extra sauce, and they made it sound like that wouldn’t be a problem, but of course the order still came wrong. The food itself was okay, but it’s frustrating when they say they can handle simple changes and then the reality is totally different

"A bit slow, but they did get back to me"
They took a while to reply, which was kind of annoying at first, and I wasn’t sure if I’d hear back. But they did respond eventually, so that counts for something. Not the fastest experience, but not totally bad either.

"Always Reliable"
I’ve ordered from Portillo’s quite a few times now, and uh, it’s been really consistent. The food shows up right, tastes the way I expect every time, and I’ve never had any weird surprises. That’s pretty much all I’m looking for

"Surprisingly smooth ordering"
I ordered through Portillo's and, it was easier than I expected. The menu was simple to find, checkout didn’t drag on forever, and changing my pickup time was quick. No annoying popups or weird steps to figure out, which is always a win. It even worked fine on my phone, which shouldn’t feel impressive in 2026, but here we are.

"Everything tasted really fresh"
I grabbed Portillo’s for lunch it all tasted really fresh. The lettuce was nice and crisp, the fries were hot, and the beef sandwich didn’t seem like it had been sitting around. It was simple, but that’s really what I like. Always nice when fast food actually feels fresh

"They handled it well"
One of the things from my online order wasn’t there when I picked it up, which was annoying. I sent a note through portillos.com and didn’t really think anything would come of it. But they got back to me fast, apologized, and took care of it without turning it into a whole thing. That made a difference. I’ll still order from them again

"I tried using the Portillo’s app…"
I tried using the Portillo’s app for pickup, and it was just kind of a pain. It kept freezing when I got to checkout, and then my cart just randomly emptied one time for no reason. The food was fine once I finally got it, but the app made the whole process take way longer than it should have. Just not something I’d call super reliable.

"Not Worth the Effort"
The beef was really dry, and the bread got soggy way too fast. I felt like I wasted my energy even getting excited for it, let alone eating it
